Let's Get Started
Step 1
Cut one of the Wonderful Halos mandarin in half. Set aside one half for the owl’s body. Cut a slice off the other half to make it smaller and use it for the head. (Eat the scrap!)
Step 2
Peel the other Halos mandarin. Set aside two segments for wings.
Step 3
From the peel, use the scissors to cut two skinny rectangles for feet and two small triangles for ear tufts.
Step 4
Cut a small, angled piece from another segment for the beak. Apply a small amount of peanut butter to the back of each candy eye to “glue” it to the head.
Step 5
Arrange your owl on a plate. Put a pretzel stick “twig” at the bottom and place the feet on top. (You can add some peanut butter to attach them to the pretzel if you’d like.)
Great job!
Add a Halos mandarin segment “moon” to the plate and a few more at the bottom for decoration. Enjoy!
