Let's Get Started

1. Step 1

   To make your axles, insert two toothpicks, parallel to each other, through the bottom of a Wonderful Halos mandarin.

2. Step 2

   To make your wheels using a carrot, peel and slice four thick carrot discs. To make your wheels using grapes or cherry tomatoes, cut them in half or use them whole. Pierce the wheels onto the toothpick ends.

   

3. Step 3

   Adhere sticker numbers to the sides of each Wonderful Halos mandarin racecar. Insert a checkered flag into the top of each racecar.

6. Great job!

   To make headlights, peel another Wonderful Halos mandarin (Bonus: Have a snack!) and save the peel. Use a hole punch to punch two circles out of the peel. Adhere the circles to the front of your racecar using the frosting as glue.
